What does the ISPN Visiting Fellowships Program Offer?

The ISPN supports two categories of Visiting Fellowships every year.

The Visiting Fellowship in an international unit supports a trainee from a low or lower-middle income country (per World Bank classification) to spend a period of time in an internationally recognized unit to acquire unique experience/surgical technique.

The Visiting Fellowship in a developing country’s unit supports a trainee from a developed country to spend a period of time in a developing country’s unit to gain knowledge about pediatric neurosurgery conditions not usually seen in developed countries.

 

Are you eligible for the program?

To be eligible for this fellowship, you need to be professionally involved in pediatric neurosurgery, under 35 at the time of the fellowship, come from or go to a low or lower-middle income country, be an active ISPN member and not have received any previous ISPN support.
