41st Annual Meeting: Mainz, Germany.

The 41st Annual Meeting of the ISPN will take place in Mainz, Germany from September 29th to October 3rd, 2013.

Dear Friends and Colleagues

It is our great pleasure to invite y ou to Mainz, Germany, to attend the 41st Annual Meeting of the ISPN from September 29th to October 3rd, 2013.

Nearly 40 years after Würzburg 1976, this will be the second ISPN Annual Meeting in Germany. The city of Mainz is situated in the heart of Europe, at the confluence of the rivers Rhine and Main; its history dates back to the time of the Roman Empire 2000 years ago. Mainz not only harbours many important historic and modern attractions, a romantic downtown and beautiful surrounding vineyards, it also offers all facilities needed to host an international scientific meeting. Hotels of different categories are within walking distance of the congress site and to downtown. The climate in Germany at the time of the meeting can be expected to be agreeable and moderately warm. Access to Mainz for the international traveller is excellent; the international Rhein/Main Airport Frankfurt is only a few kilometres away and ideally linked to Mainz by public transportation, starting directly from the airport.

The scientific committee will prepare an outstanding program and we expect an unforgettable meeting that will combine the exchange of scientific knowledge in pediatric neurosurgery with the enjoyment of the charm and local flavour of Mainz, in the company of friends and colleagues both old and new.

We look forward to welcoming all of you and your families as delegates and guests to Mainz in 2013!

Wolfgang Wagner
