Help and FAQ for members and visitors to the ISPN website.

I am a fully paid-up member of the ISPN. How do I gain access to the Members Area?

Existing ISPN members should sign up for website access at the special Signup page. Detailed instructions can be viewed/downloaded here.

I'm not happy with the way my photograph was cropped. How can I change it?

Member photos uploaded as part of the signup process are automatically resized and cropped to the right size. Unfortunately, it does not recognize faces and so it is possible that your photo may not be cropped in an ideal way. If you would like to have this corrected for you, contact the ISPN Website Administration team who will reply with an email address to which you can send your photo and have it cropped and sized manually then added to your profile.

Where is the link to the online version of Child's Nervous System?

Once you are logged in, the link appears within the menu at the top of the page that has your name in it.

How do I return to the Home page?

On any page, click the ISPN logo.

Parts of the website are not displaying correctly. Why is this?

Every effort has been made to make this website compatible with all commonly-used browsers. We recommend using the latest version of Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Internet Explorer. Please check to see that you are using the latest version of your browser.

Unfortunately, many institutions still use very old versions of Internet Explorer, especially versions 6 and 7, which cause many problems for web developers because they do not adhere to internet standards.

In the first instance, please contact the ISPN Website Administration team and be as specific as possible about the problem you are experiencing. We will need to know the full URL of the page you are referring to (starting with http...) as well as the name of the browser you are using and also its version number. In Internet Explorer, this is found under 'About Internet Explorer'. We will then try to recreate the problem and fix it as necessary.

If you are experiencing problems with this website – for example, broken links or poorly-displaying pages – please contact the ISPN Website Administration team.

If you think you have found inaccurate or incomplete information, please contact the Communications Chairman.
