Cairo, Egypt - January 2013

The ISPN Cairo Course was held from 25-27 January 2013.

The goals and objectives of the course were:

1.  To promote pediatric neurosurgery as an essential sub specialty
2. To raise the expertise of neurosurgeons in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa who are dealing with pediatric patients
3. To provide current evidence based scientific and surgical management for a variety of pediatric brain tumours
4. To provide current evidence based scientific and surgical management for hydrocephalus, spina bifida and epilepsy in children.
